Held began with the feeling of being in the water as raindrops meet the surface around you. The marks carry a sense of depth beneath the swimmer, while two blue swishes move through the painting as water and orange holds the reflection of sunlight on the sea. Above it, the sky is left open and expansive, the way it feels when you are immersed in the water and looking out into the distance.
