Wild Way reflects the sea as home and as a metaphor for life. The water can be joyful, healing and freeing. It can also be dangerous, sharp and powerful enough to hold you under. The grey sky and dark land speak to the hard times we all face, the times when light feels impossible to find. The painting comes from loving the sea completely and respecting its beauty and danger at the same time.

It’s about letting go of fear, accepting that the sea is in control and allowing yourself to move with it. Life can feel the same. Fighting against the waves makes it difficult to keep our heads above water. Floating with their natural movement allows the sea to carry us and makes the journey more enjoyable. The path forward opens when we release what cannot be controlled and trust the natural flow.
